…And she deserves to be in a calendar for it.
Faithful readers of ITPT, it’s time to give something back. It’s time, my fellow box turtles and don’t mess with’s, to stand up and be counted. “YES WE CAN” is a phrase we have heard often, and now is the time for the yes and the we and the can.
Hot Blogger Calendar is having a contest and putting together two calendars — a hot male blogger calendar, and a hot female blogger calendar. And the site wants YOU (and you and you and you and you) to nominate the bloggers who will take part in our photo shoot and appear in the 2009 Hot Blogger Calendars. And I think we all know who Miss February (when love is in the air) should be.
Voting is going on now until August 25, so click here and nominate the Pink Lady. The more “nominations” she gets, the better chance she has to be named a finalist on August 25.
So stand up. Be heard. Hold a glass of pinot in one hand and type carefully with the other. Let the world know what we already do — that the Pink Lady is hot… ginormous knees and spindly, vermicelli legs notwithstanding.

I’m honored to be nominated. And by “honored” I mean “completely stricken with dread and performance anxiety.”
I was never picked for the kickball team, never asked to prom, and certainly never got to have my picture taken with Evan Bayh like Andy Brown. I can now add “Never Picked as a Finalist for the Hot Blogger Calendar” to the list of my life’s sweetest failures.
Wow, that site opens up to a whole world of mommy blogs. I am so glad our small child stage is over and done with and college days are on the way. Whew. There are certain advantages to geezerdom. NTTAWW small children.
PL, promise if you have a kid you won’t turn ITPT into a mommy blog.

It takes the calendar site a day to get the names up. When I first nominated PL, her name didn’t show up right away. So be patient. And keep the nominations for the PL coming!
