Sorry I’ve been away from the blog, but I finally made it to Indiana. OH I’M KIDDING! I mean North Carolina. OMG STOP IT!!
You’ve got 1.5 hours (if my mathematical calculations are correct) to vote for a free TM subscription. And I’ve got 1.5 hours to ply myself with enough Pinot to make it through the night.
Onward, Ho.
The trackback URL is here.
I twittered about it. LOL OMG ROFL WTF?
I’ve got to admit, I have no idea what’s going to happen tonight. Part of that is because Chris Matthews, Joe Scarbrough, Pat Buchanon and the rest of the brain trust finally convinced me to stop watching so much fuc*king cable.
I heard a horse died at the Derby.
Whole numbers or decimals? I anticipate 4.0 beers give or take a few drops on a random plant out back.
Re: 1. The Other Guy
the Astros kick all those guys butts…..wise choice…Chrissy nneds a muzzle, pat and Joe are 2 faced, and the rest are pretty sh*t faced, except Countdown dude, and he can’t get off his O’really Jones.
PL::are you doing a bar sit-in tonite, or just tossing ‘em back at the house with Mr
PL?
I might actually leave the house and be social.
/ I’m a nice guy, very Catholic.

Re: 3. potted meat
Rumor has it some folks will be at the SFA, but they won’t necessarily be all that nice or Catholic.
thanks.
what is the normal timeline on getting there/leaving…I don’t get started too early.
If I show at 9:30 will everyone be gone (not in the mental sense…I know the answer to that)
/maybe I should only pray the Rosary once.

Re: 5. potted meat
I think some are showing up as late as 8:30, so I can’t imagine them leaving before 9:30. But PL can’t stay out that late on school nights, so you’ll miss her.

Re: 6. lush
I’m sorry. I can’t hear you. I’m in a bunker awaiting thermonuclear war.
I’ll do the best I can….If I’m gonna be there, it will be by 9………
maybe PL will stay if I buy her an extra box of wine……
If I don’t make it, I’ll be there in spirit(s)
/coverage is on….god I am really starting to hate Chrissy M

Re: 8. potted meat
Damn. I only just found out that Double Tonic changed the venue on me. We’ll be at Joe’s on West between 5th and 6th.
tonite health issues win.
i can’t come, and dam, its pretty exciting in
Indy………
say hi to all, and I’ll make it soon
And i was gonna buy PL some primo pinot, corrugated, laminated box and all…….
Its awfully quiet on the blogs. Obama has obliterated Hillary in NC, and Indy is too close to call but predicted to be 51-49. Condolences, PL. Have another glass of wine or 3 and we’ll look forward to your next post at about noon when you exit the bunker.
Salud!
My guess is that Obama will end up winning Indiana when Gary submits its sandbagged votes.
Re: 12. The REAL Blue
something may be amiss.!
old tactic …holding the result…unless you are in travis county, where 4 in the morning is the norm for a vote on what kind of pizza to get.
This, right now, is the most interested in Indiana that I’ve ever been.
Re: 12. The REAL Blue
Want some cheese with that whine?
Re: 15. The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton
just the facts………
onward ho, indeed
Not a whine, Denton. I’m pretty surprised Hillary! did as poorly as she did in IN. IMO it is over.
Re: 18. The REAL Blue
That and PL’s raison d’etre for the past several months.
I think it’s fair to say that Hillary did worse than I’d hoped in IN. Like PL I will vote for Obama if thats who the people choose. I’m just a little surprised that the Democratic voters have, in my opinion, allowed the wool to be pulled over their eyes by another smooth talking politician.
Like anyone else I would love for their to be the possibility of real change in our system. However, in the absence of that I will at the very least look for honesty. Why would I want to vote for a candidate who claims not to be taking lobbyist money whilst raking in money from lobbyist’s business partners, spouses, corporations as well as “consultants” and “advisors”? And why would I want to vote for a candidate who claims to be anti-war whilst not actually doing anything more about it than his opponent since he has been installed in a position where he could actually make a difference?
To my mind they’re all politicians and they’re all going to play semantics, no exceptions.
Jimbo…I’m as hardened to political rhetoric as anyone I know. This is a generational shift. Obama is in the right place at the right time and he largely stayed on message.
First of all, there is no one blinder than he who will not see.
And for those of you whose mind is made up, and do not want to be confused with the facts, well, eff you too.
And to the olier than thow, whom want oname call me with ‘CT” bullshit, well, sticks and stones, mother fucker.
but with all that in mind, take this FWIW
http://www.blackboxvoting.org/
well, at least Chrissy got to talk a lot while the results were not coming in.
sorry for the tone, but i get tired of ‘opinions’ without an open mind to reality.
still friends, one and all.
