According to the New Yorker, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is “…not just over. It’s obviously over.” Here are the (cherry picked) facts:
• Obama is now over 50% in Gallup’s tracking poll and his lead over Clinton averages over seven points. This is the longest stretch one of them has spent as leader in over a month.
• The Wright controversy hurt Clinton more than Obama. His support dropped from 47% to 42% among white voters and stayed at 82% among black voters. Her support dropped from 39% to 34% among white voters and from 63% to 51% among black voters. In Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin, Clinton now trails McCain (Obama leads him). This is also true in Connecticut and Virginia.
• After raising more than $35M in February, Clinton had only $11M in cash on hand at the beginning of March that could be used for the primary. Obama had $31M.
• Clinton had $8.7M in debt, not including the $5M she loaned her campaign.
• Clinton spent $400k on ads last week—all in PA. Obama spent $2M in PA, NC and Indiana.
Fifty-one percent negatives among white voters, no cash—and now a lead in Pennsylvania that has dwindled to five points: They don’t come any more stalwart than Hillary Clinton, but the next three weeks are going to be one long death march.
Could it possibly be over in three short weeks?
Ed. Note — Outsider is brainwashing his son, MY nephew. I’m about to call CPS.
The trackback URL is here.
The brainwashing doesn’t really matter unless he can get the kid a fake ID and teach him to push the right button in the voting booth.
He looks just like you after a couple of glasses of pinot!

Whore.
this is from new york magazine, not the new yorker.
I was going to write something about that Fast Company article on President Barry, but I consider this close enough.

I wish they had included something about the old school sales techniques used by W in 2000, but this is a matter for my letter to the editor.
Your nephew looks like he’s on his final final.

don’t let the lad read Fast Company. It’ll make him a little ‘tard.
