The Log Cabin Republicans are running a new ad in Iowa about Mitt Romney that exposes him as a dirty liberal who supported abortion rights and gun control before he found God in his campaign coffers. Although there is no mention of his former support of gay rights, the group claims that they wanted to highlight his overall flip-flopping.

But Romney spokesman Kevin Madden isn’t buying it. “This personal, negative attack was launched and paid for by a group recognized as having Mayor Giuliani as their ‘favorite’ candidate,” Madden said. “Governor Romney supports a federal marriage amendment and so it makes sense that a national gay rights group would attack him. Bunch of queers.”
